Are you kidding?! :D

You and I are fortunate, Sarah. We both knew we wanted to be writers and chose careers around that. There are tons of people our age, though, who can't bear to rule out all those options because they're still not sure what they want to do. Sometimes, though, I don't think they've realized what was your original point...they've made a choice. They chose to make family their priority or something else.Tierney Sadlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508037058967261204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1627357967936193401.post-13950281794544949522011-07-13T14:01:19.720-04:002011-07-13T14:01:19.720-04:00Of course not!:) I bet even someone living a fabu...Of course not!:) I bet even someone living a fabulous life as an astronaut married to his college sweetheart has a few regrets about choosing that life. After all, he could have been a rock star with a whole string of groupies. Or a dog trainer playing with puppies all day long. And even choosing something like sitting on the couch, watching TV, and picking your nose has its moments. Otherwise, why do it?Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02491088732104948668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1627357967936193401.post-29065107664950531112011-07-13T12:37:46.105-04:002011-07-13T12:37:46.105-04:00I like that, Sarah..."Every choice we make fo...I like that, Sarah..."Every choice we make for something is a choice against something else." And even though we're usually thinking in terms of choosing two things, it's actually a choice against everything else. Not that that should cause anxiety or anything. :DTierney Sadlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508037058967261204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1627357967936193401.post-72722364695206992532011-07-13T11:35:08.250-04:002011-07-13T11:35:08.250-04:00It's about priorities. Do you want to put in the exercising time it takes to have a six-pack, or do you want to watch "I Love Lucy" re-runs? Every choice we make for something is a choice against something else.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02491088732104948668noreply@blogger.com
