3/8/11—Exploring Passion

Today's Draw: Ace of Wands from the Steampunk (pearlescent mini #144...haha). What are you putting your passion and energy towards these days? What are you able to see more clearly now than you have ever seen before? What are you giving the green light to in your life right now?

 

The Ace of Wands signifies an upshot of creative energy, passion, inspiration and clarity in your life. This particular one shows the top of a statue's head sticking out of the sand and a new icon being built behind him...taller and able to... see farther. The wand is an umbrella that protects from the elements. To me this says that the fire of passion of inspiration acts as an anesthetic to dull the pain of the work that needs to be done in creating something new.

For me, the answer to all the questions is relationship. I've been on a solitary journey toward spiritual and personal enlightenment for a long time now. And while traveling that path alone is valuable, it's only half of the journey. So the time is right for me to tackle....er, um....meet some guy who will accompany me for the next leg of my journey. Of course, with that, comes some pain from losing the freedoms and comfort of the old way of being. So the passion of a new love will dull that pain. Interesting how that works, isn't it? Anyway, that's what I'm giving the green light to these days. Hopefully the universe will comply. ;)
